January Stars
The January Stars trio—featuring JD Stefan on guitar and vocals, Daniel Macca on drums, and myself on bass and vocals—recently wrapped up two phenomenal gigs at the Meridian Main Street Market and the Sandbar in Garden City, Idaho.
If you missed those, we will be performing at the Meridian Main Street Market on Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.. A massive thank you goes out to CheRee Eveland of Eventageous Idaho for inviting us back to the Market this year. It has been a true joy to connect with the local community.
Ghost in the Machine: A New, Heartfelt Episode
Joe Zenk and I are back with a brand-new episode of Ghost in the Machine. This time around, we dive deep into the emotional landscapes of Glen Hansard’s "Falling Slowly" and Elbow’s "My Sad Captains".
Reflecting on these tracks and the poignant artistry behind them made this episode a real tear-jerker—at least for me! We explore vulnerability, the passage of time, and what it truly means to be present with the people you love.

New Release: Dave and the WAVs Tackle "Touch of Grey"
Dave and the WAVs have officially released a brand-new track: our own unique treatment of the Grateful Dead classic, "Touch of Grey".
This recording features Dave Eisenhauer on guitar and backing vocals, myself stepping up for lead vocals and bass, and the incredibly talented Jason "Walk the Doctor" Sanchez anchoring the remaining instrumentation and production. Getting to lay down these tracks was an absolute pleasure, serving as our personal tribute to the late, legendary Phil Lesh and his foundational bass work.
